The Catalyst Fund
Statement
of
Purpose and Interests
The Catalyst Fund exists to provide general
support to start-up
and young organizations, or for specific projects in larger
organizations,
as they seek to do good works. Generally, the Fund wishes to help
build
healthy communities, and to help provide opportunities for people to
improve and
stabilize their circumstances.
The Catalyst Fund is interested in projects in the following specific
areas:
1. Early Education
2. Environment Educating about and
providing
access to the outdoors.
3. Chronic Poverty Addressing root causes of chronic
poverty
4. Fairness & Justice Providing access
to
ways to be heard, and to fairness and justice.

cover letter with your request clearly stated
- A
narrative (no more than 3 pages) describing:
- The
purpose of the project and the over-all organization (if any)
- Activities
and Outcomes for the project
- A
budget for the project showing how Catalyst Fund grant monies would be
used
- A
list of the organization’s officers and directors
- Proof
of the organization’s IRS Section 501(c)3 ruling
